Low Shear Back Pressure Regulator
Description
A complete range of Binks Low Shear Back Pressure Regulators are available for most flow pressures and technical requirements of high volume paint circulating systems. Material flow, paint velocity and back-pressure are all controlled via Low Shear Back Pressure Regulators. Our Binks Regulators dynamically adjust to control paint system back-pressure and material flow within pipe lines during applicator demand periods. When paint flow fluctuates due to demand at the applicator, the spring acting on the diaphragm automatically increases or decreases the forces acting on the paint flow. This maintains the set pressure level and allows material to flow where it is required by the applicator. If the pressure in the system drops below the set level, the valve will then close. Low Shear Back Pressure Regulators are also available with pneumatic controls. This provides for automatic energizing or de-energizing of the paint circulating system and is a key component in Smart Circulating Systems.
